Adam Handling's zero waste café Bean & Wheat is launching a series of bespoke beer-pairing evenings for 2019.

Collaborating with some of Europe's best independent microbreweries, including the award-winning, The Five Points Brewing Company, Copenhagen's Mikkeller and vegan brewery Verdant Brewing Company; Bean & Wheat is offering a unique experience to discover forward-thinking speciality craft beers, which have been expertly paired with a bespoke tasting menu from Chef Adam Handling's award-winning restaurant, The Frog Hoxton.
The chefs at The Frog Hoxton will take guests through each innovative course to explain how the chosen ingredients perfectly complement the individual characteristics of its matched beer. Guests will also have the opportunity to quiz the brewery owners themselves at an exclusive Q&A session.
Kicking off the series of special collaborations will be the South East London brewery, Brew by Numbers, on Friday 5th April. showcasing their latest beer portfolio, guests will be presented with seven speciality craft beers such as Sour Berry Sour Red Ale, Hobsons Pale collab and Stout Chocolate & Orange and a Q&A session with the brewery owners.
The matching tasting menu will include delectable dishes such as, ‘Trout, buckwheat, passion fruit’, ‘Cod, corn, girolle, ponzu’ and ‘Sutton Hoo chicken, spring vegetables, wild garlic dumplings’.

The series of micro-beer collaborations will continue throughout the year with a number of exciting craft breweries:
