Don't expect us to ever pronounce this right, but following the success of his first venture Heaney's, Tommy Heaney launches Uisce his next venture right next door.

Uisce (pronounced ish-ka) a coffee and wine bar, will be Tommy Heaney's second venture in Cardiff, opening for breakfast and lunch in the day, and wine and charcuterie at night.
Menu highlights will include a full breakfast, including Tommy’s homemade sausages, the very best black pudding from Ireland and of course Heaney’s famous sourdough. Healthier options will feature delicious yoghurts, seasonal fruit, homemade granola and honeycomb.

For lunch, expect to see home cooked stews, house salads as well as sandwiches and soups available in daily changing combos.
Available all day will be Tommy’s freshly cooked crumpets and bagels complete with a variety of house fillings; cooked meats will be cured, cooked and smoked in house. From mid-afternoon, you can indulge in light bites, charcuterie, cheese and world wines.

Heaney has teamed up with a local coffee producer to create a home blend, and fresh juices will be juiced to order. High quality but not highly priced wine list will contain a mix of old world wines produced from forgotten grapes with the regularly changing wine list being offered by the glass. The drinks list will also include a range of gins and cocktails.
