Review: Boundless Activated Nuts and Seeds

The Queen of Snacking and our gluten-free writer Emma Dennehy takes a look at Boundless nuts and seeds, and it looks like she has found a gem.


I am very much a person already firmly on board the #snackrevolution train, sat comfortably in first class. I want a snack full of flavour, goodness, and be that something a bit different. I am a grazer, so when this box of Boundless nuts and seeds arrived on my front step, it was like all my Christmas’ had come at once. Boundless, you are utter gems. These are the one!

Four flavour combos make up the Boundless range- Tamari and Allepo; if savoury is your bag then this is for you, full of umami you’ll eat these up pretty quick and satisfy that snack craving! Turmeric and Smoked Paprika; gorgeous and smoky, perfect to funk up a salad or soup. Then there’s Orange, Ginger and Maple; a sweeter, warm offering perfect for the afternoon slump with a cuppa and finally, Cayenne and Rosemary; teamed with your favourite tipple these are so scrummy. I can honestly say, from the bottom of my snack loving heart that THESE ARE ALL DELICIOUS!!


Perfect to pop in your bag for an on the go nibble (a Coeliac’s dream) sprinkle on top of soup, your favourite dip, or add to a salad and have alongside your favourite tipple. I mean, how versatile can one snack get?


There’s also a lot more than meets the eye with these nuts and seeds. Not only do they taste amazing to suit both sweet and savoury cravings, but they are super good for the gut too. The brand is passionate about its activated snacking range, and here’s why.


All the nuts and seeds are ‘activated’, making them easier on the gut. They do this by soaking them in saltwater to draw out the phytic acid (this is what can make nuts and seeds harder to digest, who knew?) Then they are baked with bold herbs and spices to create their signature crunch.
