Meat-eating foodies nationwide can really up their BBQ game this year, as Sainsbury’s has announced the launch of the new BBQ Sausage Sqwirl.
The sausage is approximately 1.8 metres long, serving six people (or 4 very hungry folk we say) Curled around in a square spiral, you can simply place it on the barbeque to sizzle away.
The pork sausage has been deliciously infused with tomato, smoky paprika and chilli seasoning to give an authentic Memphis style taste. What’s more, Sainsbury’s has designed the BBQ Sausage Sqwirl for ease and convenience, eliminating the issue of having to constantly turn individual sausages when cooking for multiple people.
Cooking up a storm with the BBQ Sqwirl is as simple as putting it in the oven to start, then finishing it off on the grill for that crispy texture and chargrilled flavour.
