Who are "Two Blokes In A Kitchen"?
The duo that makes up Two Blokes In A Kitchen is Daz Hendy, and Ki Liu who both have a long history in the food industry and their combined knowledge makes a dynamic team in the kitchen.
Daz has had a long, illustrious career in the world of catering, with a massive 26 years worth of knowledge and skill. His experience has ranged from large festival catering through to high-end hotels and private dining, as well as working with some big name brands and Chefs.
Ki is the third generation of his family to be in the catering world. His grandad and dad trained him in traditional Chinese cuisine, and although he stepped away from the world of food for quite a while, cooking has always been his first passion. He's now stepping back into the ring with updated Chinese classics, and flavours from South East Asia.
Daz explains the idea behind the pop-ups
"The reason why we do these pop up is to help support small local businesses. We use local companies in the area we are hosting; this way, our guests can see what's on their doorstep and maybe create food themselves, which will be healthier and more rewarding. Also, we love to create something a little different with a little twist on our dishes will give diners something they haven't tried before. We have had nothing but great feedback and always get asked when is our next one which makes it all worthwhile...."
