Birmingham’s much-loved craft beer and Indian pizza brand, The Indian Brewery Company, is set to take flight with the launch of its first-ever airport location at Birmingham Airport (BHX), opening before Christmas 2025.

In partnership with TRGC (TRG Concessions), the new venue marks a major milestone for the independent brewery, bringing its locally brewed beers and cult-favourite Indian fusion food to one of the UK’s busiest travel hubs.
Located airside in the departure lounge, Indian Brewery BHX will showcase the brand’s signature fresh craft beers on tap, including fan favourites Juicy Mango Pale Ale and Pekok Lager, alongside its iconic Indian pizzas and a dedicated breakfast menu designed for early departures.
Travellers will be able to start their journey with hearty naan breakfast sandwiches, featuring bacon, sausage and cheese, while later in the day the menu expands to include Indian pizzas, toasties and sides such as the standout butter paneer toastie and cheesy masala wedges. For those looking to linger, the venue will also operate as an all-day bar, serving craft cocktails alongside beer brewed just miles away in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter.
The airport opening becomes the brand’s third location, following the original brewery taproom and city sites that have earned The Indian Brewery Company a reputation for innovation, quality and community-led hospitality. While adapted for the fast-paced nature of airport dining, the BHX venue will remain rooted in the brewery’s commitment to fresh ingredients, modern brewing techniques and bold flavours.
The space will reflect the brand’s modern, industrial aesthetic, reimagined for an airport setting. Construction is already underway, with the launch timed to capture the festive travel rush.
Jaspal Purewal, Founder and CEO of The Indian Brewery Company, said the opening represents both growth and pride: bringing Birmingham-brewed beer and food to an international audience while creating new jobs and shining a spotlight on the city’s vibrant food scene.
With Birmingham Airport serving more than 12 million passengers annually, Indian Brewery BHX is poised to become a standout dining destination before take-off, offering travellers a final taste of the city before they fly.
