The Bloomsbury Club’s New Artist Series

This autumn, The Bloomsbury Club transforms into a gallery-meets-cocktail lounge with ‘The Artist Series’, a three-month celebration of art, craftsmanship, and cocktails in partnership with Maestro Dobel Tequila. Launching on Wednesday 15th October during Frieze Week and running until 3rd January, the series showcases creativity alongside a bold new cocktail menu.

Maestro Dobel, the ultra-luxury tequila, is passionate about innovation in the world of tequila and beyond.  Historically Maestro Dobel has partnered  with world-renowned artists to showcase their commitment to celebrating creativity and innovation in both their liquids and experiences. At the heart of this collaboration is London-based fashion illustrator and print designer Helen Bullock, celebrated for her bold, hand-drawn aesthetic. Helen’s vibrant works will be on display in The Bloomsbury Club throughout the partnership, setting a beautiful scene for cocktails, masterclasses, and live music.

The Live-Illustrated Launch - 15th October

The series opens with a fabulous one-night-only launch event unveiling an art-inspired Maestro Dobel cocktail menu alongside live jazz music and Helen Bullock will be live-illustrating the evening. Each cocktail on the new menu reimagines Maestro Dobel’s pioneering Cristalino tequila production process: crystal-clear, colourless serves that surprise with vibrant, complex flavours.

Art-Inspired & Tequila Based Cocktails

Velour (£19) is a nutty blend of Maestro Dobel Diamante, vermouth, cacao, hazelnut milk and cardamom bitters, clarified as a milk punch and garnished with an ‘Artist Palette’ biscuit. Shior Bloom (£19) is a sparkling, citrus umami mix of Maestro Dobel Diamante with pink grapefruit, white miso, clarified with greek yoghurt and finished with cucumber ‘air’. The Maestro Dobel Journey (£35) brings you on a guided tasting flight of three exceptional expressions from the smooth clarity of Dobel 50 Cristalino to the aged richness of Dobel 50 1973 edition.
