Garden Afternoon Tea at Lanes of London

Step into the garden with Lanes of London’s new Afternoon Tea, where floral notes and playful presentation bring this timeless tradition to life. Each element is thoughtfully designed, imbued with the charm and colour of a blooming English country garden.

The savoury selection begins with smoked salmon, capers and lemon cream cheese on a cocoa ‘soil’ bed, followed by golden, creamy chicken with spring vegetables encased in delicate puff pastry. Delicate crab tartar with sour cream and caviar arrives in a crisp beetroot basket, complemented by a summer vegetable and goat’s cheese quinoa tart with caramelised onion relish.

The garden-inspired journey continues with an array of sweet treats: a cherry-shaped Morello cheesecake adorned with a delicate bumblebee; a vanilla Chantilly cake evoking a miniature orchard, lifted with olive oil and clementine white chocolate ganache and scattered with edible flowers; a sunflower in a pot of milk chocolate crémeux, complete with a butterfly perched on the rim; and a blossom ‘teacup’ filled with lychee mousse, rose petal jelly, and buttery shortbread.

Freshly baked plain and mixed fruit scones with elderflower are served with Cornish clotted cream and homemade strawberry jam. Guests can enjoy their tea with a pot of JING tea, a glass of prosecco, or elevate the experience with free-flowing bubbles.

The Garden Afternoon Tea is priced from £50 per person, including a glass of bubbles. Guests can also upgrade to free-flowing cava for 90 minutes for an additional £25. Available daily from 12pm–4pm at Lanes of London.
