Jackson Boxer's latest venture Vesper, is now open in Exmouth Market. Following on from the success of Boxer's Dove in Notting Hill, this restaurant will 'adopt the same creative, approachable spirit, with its own unique expression' - according to the press release.

Vesper is a tribute to London, cosmopolitan in its outlook and proud of its native produce. Dishes feature Croquette 'Arnold Bennett' with tarragon gribiche; Chicken liver agnolotti, madeira jus; Grilled lamb shoulder, merguez and devilled kidney; Dry-aged chuck eye, smoked chestnut mushrooms with baked saffron rice. Designer Jermaine Gallacher has created the interiors for the space which occupies a double-fronted corner site with timber-framed floor-to-ceiling windows at the west end of Exmouth Market.

Rosina

Chef Adam Byatt is well known in the posher parts of South London, with restaurants in Clapham. Look out, Wandsworth, Byatt's on his way. This time, he's embracing Italian cuisine with new eatery, Rosina. He's calling it a tribute to the most well-loved cuisine in the world. What can you expect from the menu? Only a sample menu was available but it did include some great sounding dishes from Fried Taleggio - wrapped in chard leaves, tomato fondue, Tagliolini – ‘nduja tomatoes and garlic, Linguine with lobster, chili, mint and basil. Rumour is there is a dessert trolley too. How old school and how lovely.
