I've admired We Love Pizza from a distance for a while now. Seeing people carrying their iconic pizza boxes filled with delicious smelling pizza has always turned my head. When the opportunity arose to visit their new eat in offering, I leapt at the chance and honestly it did not disappoint.
We Love Pizza has had a rocky ride. Born during the pandemic the business had to rely on takeout service rather than restaurant dining. It wasn't what the business had planned but luckily fans were not deterred.
Founder Jose explains, "“When things started opening back up after the lockdowns we were ticking over nicely on takeaways and the business was sustainable but people were always asking for a table. It got us thinking again. We always wanted to welcome people in, that is what we think we do best – showcasing our product, showing our hospitality."
We started off with the caprese, well aware that there were two pizzas on their way.

The caprese was fantastic. Clearly high quality tomatoes and mozzarella with a balsamic glaze and some pesto thrown in for good measure. Very eatable indeed!

Moving on to the mains, we both had pizzas, of course! I opted for the Italamore (truffle, mushroom, smoked pancetta and tomatoes) while my partner went for the fiery Diavolo.
Both were topped with plenty of toppings, all of a high quality and the base was "mamma mia" perfecto.
Honestly, this is by far the best pizza I've had in Leamington (and I've tried a few), mine in particular was exceptional. Anything with truffle is a winner in my book so a truffle based pizza was the dream.
We didn't quite finish our mains, there was dessert to come after all. Luckily we were given a takeaway box so we could enjoy them at home.

Dessert wise I opted for a huge tiramisu which was clearly made with love whilst my partner opted for the pistachio cannoli. I'm never much of a fan of cannoli but I must admit these were delightful.
All in all, a fantastic meal in a buzzing Leamington restaurant with fantastic friendly service. We even washed down our meal with Napton Cider which I reviewed before a few years ago.
Have I just found my new favourite pizza?
