Simon Rogan relaunches Home By Simon Rogan

Chef Simon Rogan relaunches delivery offering as ‘Home by Simon Rogan’, in partnership with Lake District holiday cottage company.

A full rebrand and an exclusive collaboration with Lake District accommodation providers Lakelovers, Heart of the Lakes and Lakes Cottage Holidays, (part of the Sykes Holiday Cottages family), makes for the next phase of Simon Rogan’s home delivery innovation, which is set to relaunch as Home by Simon Rogan.

Bringing his delivery dining experience with exclusive seasonal menus to Lakelovers, Heart of the Lakes and Lakes Cottage Holidays guests from July, the latest incarnation of what was formerly Simon Rogan Home, coincides with plans to keep ‘at home’ for the long-haul.

Following its launch within the holiday cottages, the revamped Home by Simon Rogan will be available for the wider public to order later in the summer.

When the service was initially launched as Simon Rogan at Home in 2020, it delivered to areas in and around Cartmel. Due to popular demand, the team gradually began to deliver further afield and by the end of 2020, they were delivering to customers’ homes right across the UK.

Lakelovers, Heart of the Lakes and Lakes Cottage Holidays quickly realised the potential of having a high-quality food offering delivered directly to holidaymakers visiting the Lakes District in 2021, and so an idea for a partnership with Simon Rogan was born. The collaboration will provide Sykes guests staying in the Lakes with an exclusive opportunity to enjoy a ‘restaurant at home’ dining experience delivered directly to their holiday cottage doors.

Lake District guests will receive an email containing a link, inviting them to the secret portal of Home by Simon Rogan, where they can browse and order the bespoke food offering, which is totally exclusive to Sykes guests and isn’t available to guests staying with any other holiday cottage company in the area.

As part of the Home by Simon Rogan rebrand, Simon has not only worked to elevate the quality of each dish but also its green credentials, ensuring the packaging is even more environmentally friendly than before. The box has been designed for alternative uses post-delivery, such as a seed growing tray, cool box or for enhancing compost or garden mulch.

Sam Ward, Managing Director of Simon Rogan’s restaurants commented: “We are really proud of how our at home offering has evolved, how it has become a permanent fixture as part of the business and that we now have the opportunity to work alongside a holiday company as reputable as this one. Our collaboration with Lakelovers, Heart of the Lakes and Lakes Cottage Holidays is the next logical step in providing those staycationing in the Lakes with an opportunity to enjoy the best ‘at home’ dining experience in the UK. Our unique collection of seasonal three-course menus are perfect for those wishing to treat themselves to a memorable experience with minimal effort during their getaway to the area.’’

Matt Hartnett, Head of Local Brand Marketing, Sykes Holiday Cottages family said: “We know our guests have high expectations and are always looking for different and high-end experiences to enjoy. People are wanting other options rather than eating out right now, as things slowly get back to normal. What a treat to have a Michelin-star chef providing local, seasonal menus for them to enjoy in the comfort of their holiday hideaway.”

Alongside specially created boxes for cottage guests, Simon and team will continue to sell their already established at-home meals across the country. The cooking of Home By Simon Rogan meals will take place within Simon’s purpose-built kitchen in the Cumbria village of Flookburgh, established earlier this year to meet nationwide demand for delivery boxes and located a few miles from Cartmel. The collaboration with Sykes Family Cottages has also created eight new job roles, to include chefs and administrative support, with predictions for continued growth.
