Alley Cats, the cult New York-style pizzeria known for its 14-inch artisan pies and neighbourhood charm, will be opening the doors to their third restaurant on Friday 15th August. Following the success of its Marylebone and Chelsea locations, the new venue will bring their signature Southern Italian ingredients and bold Manhattan influence to Westbourne Grove.

To celebrate the opening of the new restaurant, Head Chef Francesco Macri has added some Americana-inspired dishes to the tried and tested menu. Expect a new spicy/smoky maple BBQ Chicken Pizza, a refreshing take on the classic Caesar Salad and a brand-new Pizza Fritta dough “pillow” oozing with cheesy spinach. These additions build on Alley Cats’ reputation for marrying Southern Italian ingredients like San Marzano tomatoes and Campanian Buffalo Mozzarella with New York-style confidence and creativity. Of course, the line-up wouldn’t be complete without a few cult favourites making reappearances – from the much-loved Vodka Sauce Pizza to their signature Pepperoni with Jalapeños and Hot Honey.

This latest venture also marks a new chapter for the brand’s drinks programme, introducing bold cocktails with complementary flavours to the menu. New drinks include The Dark Alley, negroni infused for 48 hours with rich Arabica coffee; the refreshing bergamot and elderflower Bloom Spritz and their house take on the iconic Negroni, The Cat’s Classics. Sitting alongside this, in collaboration with Coalition Brewery, their crisp, refreshing signature House Lager, Bones Brew. Alley Cats will also stock Jesse Jenkins’ (adip_food) naturally flavoured sparkling water, YEW, as well as the ever-popular Mexican Coca Cola.

Alley Cats’ Westbourne Grove outpost retains the brand’s stripped-back style, fronted by its signature scalloped awning in bright butter yellow to contrast the exposed brick interiors, pizza ovens, upcycled pew seating, and gingham tablecloths. A cosy private dining room tucked beneath the main floor adds a touch of sophistication and privacy. It’s the perfect spot for group get-togethers, birthday blowouts and laid-back, pizza-packed parties.
Meanwhile, fans of the brand will be able to order click+collect for takeaway, and shop Alley Cats’ exclusive merch, available on-site.
Francesco Macri, Head Chef at Alley Cats, says: “We love finding spots that feel full of energy and character. Westbourne Grove has a strong local community and just the right kind of edge – it reminds me of neighbourhoods back home in Italy but has that lively city buzz. We can’t wait to fire up the oven and welcome people in.”
