MONOPOLY GO!, the smash-hit mobile game from Scopely, is inviting Tycoons and foodies alike to its first-ever Dough Fest - a playful and delicious real-world festival inspired by the game’s charming and imaginative universe, celebrating all things dough from edible creations to in-game riches.

Taking place on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th September at the Truman Brewery in East London, the festival will serve up dough-licious flavours from around the globe, headlined by an exclusive ‘Double Down’ doughnut created by restaurant critic Grace Dent with viral bakery Bread Ahead, alongside festival-only treats from Soft Serve Society and award-winning pizzeria Napoli on the Road.

Inspired by MONOPOLY GO!’s Bon Appétit sticker album - live now as part of the Culinary season and celebrating dishes and flavours from across the world - Dough Fest will transform those global tastes into limited-edition dough-themed creations. From bold flavour mashups to sweet-and-savoury surprises, visitors can enjoy one-off dishes from some of London’s hottest food names, while also coming together to celebrate another of MONOPOLY GO!’s most loved features - sticker trading.  Every Tycoon attending will receive a ‘flavour passport’, collecting stamps as they explore the festival. Those who complete their passport will unlock bonus prizes, exclusive freebies, and in-game rewards available only at Dough Fest.

The headline attraction sees broadcaster and restaurant critic Grace Dent team up with viral London bakery Bread Ahead to create the exclusive ‘Double Down’ doughnut, available only at Dough Fest. Tycoons will need to roll the ultimate lucky hand - double sixes - to unlock it at a real world Community Chest, bringing one of MONOPOLY’s most iconic game moments to life. Inside waits a luxurious, one-of-a-kind creation infusing double chocolate, mango lassi and chilli jam flavours.

Joining the Double Down doughnut are tempting new flavours to give festival-goers plenty of ways to get their dough fix, including:

  • Bread Ahead - now a London institution famous for its pillowy doughnuts and next-level bakes, will be serving up unique flavours like never before;

    • Double Down Doughnut - double chocolate, double mango, double chilli jam

    • Rose Jelly Jackpot - inspired by Turkish delight

    • Bigshot Bacon & Caramel  - salted caramel cream with bits of bacon and pretzel throughout

    • Tycoon Harissa Tiramisu - tiramisu on the inside, harissa sugar on the outside

  • Soft Serve Society - the cult London ice cream parlour celebrated for inventive flavours, whipping up exclusive creations just for Dough Fest;

    • Cash Grab Ketchup & Mayo - that’s right, ketchup and mayo, in ice cream

    • Lime Pickle Payday - the Indian classic, with poppadoms on the side

    • Mega Heist Miso Corn - a creamy blend of miso, caramel, and corn

    • Cha-Chilli! Cookie - brown butter cookie with a chilli kick

  • Napoli on the Road - the award-winning pizzeria led by 2023 World’s Best Pizza Chef, Michele Pascarella, debuting festival-only pizzas crafted specially for the event;

    • The Big Blue Cheese - a ricotta base layered with stracciatella and blue stilton, topped with red grapes, parmesan crisps and tomato jam

    • Croque Monsieur Monopoly - delicious cotto ham covered with truffle panko breadcrumbs, topped with basil and pineapple compote

    • Pass Go, Collect Curry - a courgette and curry cream base sprinkled with courgette chips, crunchy corn, red chillies and vegan stracciatella, finished with lime zest and tomato and curry jam

Grace Dent added “I’ve been to plenty of food festivals, but Dough Fest is in a league of its own. It’s where show-stopping food meets the thrill of friendly competition, and I can’t wait for everyone to try our one-of-a-kind doughnut creation with Bread Ahead. If you love doughnuts, MONOPOLY GO!, or just a brilliant day out exploring delicious food and flavours, this is the place to be.”
