Mildreds on the Wharf: Plant-Based Dining, Reimagined
Since first opening in Soho in 1988, Mildreds has been a trailblazer in plant-based dining, proving that meat-free food can be as exciting and indulgent as any fine dining experience. Now, it’s bringing that same spirit of creativity eastward with a fresh new residency that merges Mildreds’ iconic dishes with Mallow’s waterfront energy.
The restaurant and leafy terrace will serve up a globally inspired menu spanning breakfast, brunch, burgers, salads, small plates and cocktails — all vibrant, all plant-based. Whether you’re vegan, flexitarian, or simply flavour-curious, this pop-up promises something for everyone.
Pre- and Post-Theatre Dining at the Troubadour
To celebrate the opening of the nearby Troubadour Canary Wharf Theatre, Mildreds has created a special theatre menu — two courses for £24 or three for £32 — available from 12pm–6pm (pre-theatre) and 9:30pm–close (post-theatre).
Expect bold, theatrical dishes like:
Dükk salad with crispy vegan “duck” and mango jeow som dressing
Vegan cheeseburger in a striking beetroot bun
Flame broth with rice noodles and panko tofu
The Final Feast Chocolate Cake with sour cherry compote
Paired with a limited-edition cocktail menu inspired by the Troubadour Theatre, it’s the ultimate dinner-and-show experience for Canary Wharf’s newest cultural hub.
From Breakfast to Cocktails
Whether you’re grabbing a morning coffee, meeting for a plant-powered lunch, or ending your day with cocktails on the terrace, Mildreds on the Wharf promises vibrant flavours and warm hospitality, true to the brand’s 35-year legacy.
