TABLE@VALLEBONA TO LAUNCH HIGH STREET SHOP

Stefano and Naoko Vallebona, owners of Italian goods purveyor Table@Vallebona and luxury restaurant supplier V2B, are excited to announce the launch of their first-ever high street shop in the centre of Wimbledon Village, Southwest London.

Opening on 21st November, the site, housed in a grade II listed former fire station, will feature a walk-in cheese and charcuterie maturation room, with over 50 types of cheese from 15 regions, a large collection of hand-selected wines, pastas, antipasti, local Italian spirits, artisan kitchen accessories, hampers and much more. As ever, the produce on offer has been carefully selected from small producers and is the same that many of UK’s best restaurants use, including The River Cafe, Le Gavroche, Alain Ducasse, Bocca di Lupo and Trinity.

Commenting on the launch, Stefano Vallebona said: “Family-run provision shops are central to village life across Europe and beyond, so Naoko and I are extremely excited to finally be bringing a little piece of Vallebona to Wimbledon Village. It's been a dream of ours for many years and many of our most loyal and regular customers are based in or around here. After such a tough year it’s an amazing way for us to see out 2020 and begin a new and, hopefully, less traumatic year.”

Opening just in time for Christmas, Vallebona’s range of easy-to-prepare grazing boxes, artisan hampers and their famous Italian panettone, alongside plenty of other gifts, will make the perfect one-stop-shop for the festive season.

Adding on to a long-standing list of chefs who have collaborated on events in the Vallebona warehouse space, an outdoor terrace running alongside the shop and seating up to 20 will be utilised next summer (2021) as a wine bar and events space. Expect names like Adam Byatt of Michelin-starred Trinity in Clapham, Emily Roux of Caractère in Notting Hill, Jacob Kenedy of Bocca di Lupo in Soho, and Rachel Humphrey, Executive Chef of Le Gavroche in Mayfair.
