Valentine's Afternoon Tea at Landmark London

Love it or loathe it, Valentine's Day is just around the corner. For those embracing it, afternoon tea at The Landmark London might be just the way to celebrate. The grand Winter Garden Restaurant sets the scene for a week-long feast, with dainty patisserie, including milk chocolate and passionfruit mousse on cocoa sable, and lemon and almond Bakewell with rosewater meringue. Freshly baked chocolate and candied cherry scones with homemade preserves and salted pistachio spread, along with delicate finger sandwiches, completes this special menu.
Traditionalists can opt for the usual tea options but the curious can embark on a adventure for the taste buds. Dark Chocolate with cocoa and coconut; the floral Rose Pouchong or Snow Buds, a white tea with a sweet and subtle flavour profile. If you fancy a glass of fizz, choose between Taittinger Champagne, Prestige Rosé or non-alcoholic Wild Idol Sparkling Rosé. For the indulgent among you, why not try all three?
There's a spectacular ballet performance on Valentine’s Day itself - 14th February 2026. Watch ballerinas pirouette through the restaurant's atrium, to the soothing notes of a live pianist. Afternoon Tea is priced from £75 per person. Served from 2.30-5pm on Monday-Friday, and 1-5pm Saturday-Sunday. Fizz is charged as an extra.

Paper Moon Dining Extravaganza

Paper Moon brings Italian fine dining, with its San Valentino set menu for one night only - 14th February 2026. The evening will begin with a glass of champagne and amuse-bouche before a three-course menu. Starters of beef tartare and prawn carpaccio, and what's for main course? How about pan-fried beef fillet with pink peppercorn sauce and mashed potatoes? Perfect.
Dessert includes a showstopper of a sharing pudding - Biancomangiare. A modern take on a Sicilian almond dessert, served with raspberry coulis.
To accompany a two-hour dining extravaganza, live entertainment is promised across the evening. Three course menu - £125 per person.

Slow Dance at Hakkasan, Mayfair

If you thought the slow dance was a thing of the past, you'd be wrong. If you don't understand the reference, until the mid-90s, most mainstream nightclubs invited couples onto the dance floor for a slow dance, right before turning the lights on and kicking everyone out at 2am. Happy days.
Swanky Mayfair restaurant, Hakkasan, has unveiled it's first Valentine's menu, fittingly called The Slow Dance Menu. A collaboration with Billecart-Salmon Champagne, and celebrity-tequila, Pantalones - actor Matthew McConaughey and wife Camilla are behind the brand. The menu includes some Hakkasan favourites - Signature Steamed Dim Sum Duo, Grilled Chilean Sea Bass in honey and Crispy Freshwater Prawns, together with a cocktail made using Pantalones Reposado Tequila, the organic, award-winning brand founded by , infused with strawberry, hibiscus, agave, grapefruit and a subtle savoury note of Tigerella tomato water.
The menu costs £150pp, including one cocktail, and half a bottle of Billecart-Salmon.

Valentine's Feast at KOKUM, Dulwich

This neighbourhood Indian restaurant in Dulwich serves 'Gymkhana-style experimentation at about half the price.' - according to food critic Grace Dent.
Dive in to their 4 course Valentine's menu for one-night-only on 14th February. The set menu begins with a snack of Palak Patta Chaat, crisp spinach leaves layered with tangy chutneys, yoghurt, and gentle spice, followed by a trio of starters to share: Tandoori Malai Prawns with Beetroot Galouti Kebab, and Rose Chicken Tikka. For the main course, guests can choose between Mughlai Chicken Korma, a rich and aromatic curry with nuts and delicate spices, or Paneer Tikka Masala, featuring char-grilled paneer in a velvety tomato masala finished with kasuri methi and cream, served with truffle naan and saffron pulao rice. The evening concludes with a Gulab Jamun Cheesecake.
The Valentine’s set menu is priced at £55 per person and can be booked directly.

Noodle and Beer, Chinatown Turns Up The Heat

Noodle and Beer in Chinatown is inviting couples to take on London’s hottest Valentine’s Day menu on 14th Feb. Start with Choo-Shou - Sichuan dumplings with minced chicken and lotus root before taking on the restaurant’s spiciest dish for the main course: Xian-Jiao Niu Rou, made up of noodles, red pepper, beef, peanuts, spring onions and pickled greens and a shed load of chillies. It's got a score of 5/5 on Noodle and Beer’s chilli scale. You can also opt for wine pairings to complement each dish which may hekp to cool off the palate.
Two courses for £25pp and three courses for £30pp. Wine pairing add-ons two for £16.50 and three for £26.50.

The Mint Room, Bath

\Dining outside London slashes the price, without impacting on quality. The Mint Room in Bath is just such an example. Its Valentine's Day Tasting Menu is priced at £60, with an option of £35 additional charge for a pairing wine flight.
Showcasing modern Indian cuisine, the menu is inspired by rich regional flavours. The question remains, whether diners will finish five courses, plus sides, so arrive hungry. Amuse bouche - heart-shaped golden patties filled with spiced corn masala, and finished off with cultured butter and aromatic herbs. There's Potli Murgh - chicken supreme - for starter, and Yakhni Gosht - lamb curry - for main course.

Unlimited Dessert at 108 Brasserie Marylebone

For some, the main event is dessert. 108 Brasserie in Marylebone is giving dessert lovers the chance to celebrate Valentine's Night with a dessert buffet!
Choose from sharing mains - whole butterflied sea bass, served with crisp fritto misto, rosemary potatoes, chargrilled broccoli and lemon mayonnaise (£75), or 1kg Surrey tomahawk steak, accompanied by garlic butter prawns, creamed spinach, triple-cooked chips, chimichurri and béarnaise sauce (£125).
Guests may then visit the Valentine’s Day Dessert Room, with unlimited servings for £19 per person. Chocolate-coated strawberries, Baileys truffles, tiramisu, profiteroles drizzled with warm chocolate sauce - wall-to-wall sweet treats.
